Your Privacy Matters

• Personal Information: such as your name, email address, username, profile picture, and any other information you voluntarily provide (e.g., when signing up or submitting feedback).
• Vehicle & Build Data: information about your vehicles including make, model, year, modifications, photos, costs, and performance statistics that you add to your garage or Build Cards.
• User-Generated Content: photos, descriptions, social media handles, and other content you upload or include in your Build Cards.
• Usage & Device Data: pages visited, features used, time spent on the platform, device/browser type, operating system, language, IP address, and region (for security, localization, and analytics).
• Payment Metadata: limited billing details from Stripe, Apple, or Google (e.g., payment status, product, masked identifiers); we do not store full card numbers.
• Analytics Data: Build Card view counts, save counts, and share counts, including IP addresses for deduplication and abuse prevention.
• Diagnostic or Error Data: used to identify bugs or improve user experience.

We use the data we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the TorqueBot platform.
• Communicate with you (e.g., updates, support, feature releases).
• Understand how users interact with the platform and improve usability.
• Ensure the platform is secure and running smoothly, including fraud and abuse prevention.
• Process subscriptions and comply with legal obligations (e.g., tax and accounting).
• Send marketing or product updates where permitted, with the option to opt out.

When you create a Build Card, certain information becomes publicly accessible:

• Public Profile: Your username and profile picture are visible on your Build Cards and accessible via public URLs (e.g., torquebot.io/@username/car-name).
• Build Card Content: Vehicle information, photos, modifications, descriptions, performance stats, and any tags you add are publicly visible when your Build Card is set to public.
• Social Media Links: If you add Instagram, YouTube, or TikTok handles to your Build Card, these are displayed publicly.
• Region Display: If you enable "Show Region", your general location (country/state) may be displayed on your Build Card.
• Generated Images: We generate shareable images (for social media stories and link previews) using your Build Card content, including car photos and modification details.

We track Build Card engagement (views, saves, shares) and may use IP addresses to deduplicate analytics and detect abuse. Reported content may be reviewed by our moderation team.

We store your data securely using industry-standard practices to protect it from unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure. However, no system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute protection.

Data may be processed in Australia and other countries where our providers (e.g., hosting, storage, analytics, email, payments) operate. We use contractual protections when transferring data across borders where required.

We may share your information with third-party service providers (e.g., cloud hosting, analytics platforms) only as necessary to provide and support our services. These third parties are required to keep your data confidential and secure.

We may also disclose your information if required by law or to protect our legal rights.

Content Reports: If a Build Card is reported by another user, report details (reason, description) are stored and reviewed by our moderation team. Reporter identities are kept confidential from the Build Card owner.

Typical processors include hosting/storage (e.g., AWS/Lightsail, MinIO), analytics, email providers, customer support tools, and payment processors (Stripe, Apple, Google). App Store and Google Play purchases are handled under Apple and Google terms.

We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described above, including providing the service, complying with legal obligations, resolving disputes, and enforcing agreements.

When you delete content or close your account, we remove or anonymize data where feasible. Backups and logs may persist for a limited period for security, continuity, or legal compliance.

TorqueBot may use cookies and similar technologies to:

• Keep you logged in
• Remember preferences
• Analyze site usage and measure campaign performance

You can manage or disable cookies through your browser settings.

You can request access to your personal information, request corrections, or ask us to delete your data by contacting us at support@torquebot.io.

We will respond to your request in accordance with Australian privacy law (Privacy Act 1988) and international data standards (such as the GDPR, if applicable).

You can opt out of marketing emails at any time via the unsubscribe link. Transactional or service communications may still be sent.

If you have unresolved privacy concerns, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) or your local regulator. We will work with you to resolve any complaint.
